and we now have a 6 year old

Well if turning 30 next month does not make me feel old enough, having a six year
old does the trick!

Haley had a great birthday and thanks for all who wished her a happy day!

Alex made her mini pancakes and bacon for breakfast and to celebrate we went bowling. She requested a princess cake this year. She also requested a "tan" princess b/c once we move to PNG she will have a good "tan" so she thought it would be a good idea.
I love how children think :)

Alex off to Haiti

Well Alex leaves in about 6 hours…tomorrow will be a very long day for the team. They leave McAllen (an hour from here) at 6:25 am and fly to Dallas then Miami then to the DR. The will be in a hotel Sunday night and then make the drive to Haiti Monday morning.

Please add Haley O to your prayers. As some may know she had a VERY hard time when Alex went to Mexico this summer. One mistake we made this summer was not telling her in advance that Alex was going. This time we’ve been talking about it for a few weeks and she seems to understand why he is going and has been okay with it. She did great tonight but when she got in the bed tonight the tears started. Please pray that this time away from her dad won’t be too hard for her.

We would like for there to be round the clock prayer for the team while in Haiti. There is a spreadsheet on Google that will allow you to sign up if it is something you are interested in doing. There are MANY available slots. Feel free to use up all of them!!! The days are at the bottom of the sheet.

In an effort to keep everyone updated I planned on updating our blog but thanks to the Sanders (Jeremy and Kandy) a blog has been created for the team. This will allow contacts of everyone on the team to go to a central source for updates.
