getting ready

Well, we leave for La Barra, Mexico in 7 days! I am so excited. It will take 3 days to get there and we will be camping for 7 nights and then 3 days back home. The plan as of now is to stay in tents, but from what I can tell, there's really not a “plan”. Alex and I bought a cool new tent that hopefully will keep us somewhat cool at night. Its no bigger than our old one, just a different shape and with more windows. Alex and I will be on a cot, Haley is borrowing her friend Bradley's cot and Graham will be in his pack-n-play. As far as what we will be doing is still undetermined. For the most part we are there to continue building christian friendships. I am really excited to be a part of this trip. One of the hardest things about the PNG trip was not being there to fellowship with the believers.

No new updates from the home front. Haley and Graham are growing up too fast. Graham is walking fast now and kinda has an attitude... he must get it from his dad. Haley is working hard at “school” and she is doing great at her writing. Alex is working hard in class and I get to attend class next week. David Edgington is the speaker next week and his topic is Biblical counseling and Teams. The moms were encouraged to attend so my plan is to attend every afternoon. I love going to class with Alex!

We miss y'all!

Move over Dorshinko

Just to let the ones of you who know "Dr. Dorshinko", or know who I'm talking about, this should be good.

Last week I started a crash course dental training school. It's a one week school (with lots of volunteer hours) that teaches you how to fill cavities without using a common tooth drill and without using local anesthesia.

So far the class has been great. Due to some family needs I missed the last 2 days of class so I'm having to make them up, but its still mucho fun! If I can get enough hours in this week I will get to work in/on some real mouths!

I'll keep you up to date!
